Values update after you calculate. Empty or invalid inputs will not invent a number.

Enter the values and choose Calculate to see estimates.

How it works

Each cylinder's swept volume is a cylinder with the bore as diameter and the stroke as height. Multiply by cylinder count.

Displacement (cc) = π ÷ 4 × bore² × stroke × cylinders, with bore and stroke in millimetres, then ÷ 1000.

These results are estimates for planning only. They are not OEM specifications, safety certifications, or professional mechanical, legal, or financial advice.

Engine Displacement Calculator FAQs

Is advertised 450cc the same as this math?

Marketing names are often rounded. This calculator uses the bore and stroke you enter.

Single-cylinder ATVs use 1 for cylinders?

Yes. Enter 1 for most sport and trail singles, 2 for twins, and so on.

How do I convert cubic inches to cc?

The result already shows both. One cubic inch is about 16.387 cc.
