Values update after you calculate. Empty or invalid inputs will not invent a number.

Enter the values and choose Calculate to see estimates.

How it works

Loaded weight is empty trailer plus ATVs plus cargo. Remaining payload is GVWR minus that loaded weight.

Loaded weight = trailer tare + (ATV weight × count) + cargo.

These results are estimates for planning only. They are not OEM specifications, safety certifications, or professional mechanical, legal, or financial advice.

Trailer Load Calculator FAQs

What is trailer tare?

Tare is the empty trailer weight, including ramps and spare tire if they stay on the trailer.

Does fuel in the ATV count?

Yes. Use a wet or ready-to-ride weight rather than dry shipping weight.

What if remaining payload is negative?

The load is over the trailer GVWR estimate. Use a higher-rated trailer or haul fewer machines.
