Hey folks, I've got a 2019 Polaris PS4 and I'm looking to switch to a different oil brand. The manual says to use 10W-30 synthetic, but I'm curious what other oils are truly equivalent in terms of protection and performance. I've heard some people use Mobil 1 or Amsoil, but I'm not sure about the specs. Anyone have a proven alternative they stick with? Also, any tips on break-in periods after the oil change would be appreciated!

From my experience, Castrol Power 1 10W-30 works just fine. It meets the same API standards and I’ve never seen any oil sludge in the crankcase. One thing to watch: after an oil change, avoid full‑throttle climbs for the first 20‑30 miles so the new oil can coat the bearings properly.
