what is the best atv for mudding

Hey folks, I’m gearing up for a weekend of serious mud bogging and need some advice on the best ATV to tackle deep, slick mud. I’ve got a 450‑cc two‑stroke that’s been solid on trails, but I’m wondering if I should upgrade to a larger displacement or maybe a different tire setup. What models have proven themselves in thick mud, and what mods (tire tread, lift kits, exhaust) are essential? Also, any tips on handling and safety in those conditions would be huge. I just installed a new 36-tooth front sprocket on my 2007 Polaris Ranger and kept the stock 18-tooth rear. The spec sheet says the gear ratio is now 40:1. what is a cdi box on an atv

I'm trying to wrap my head around what a CDI box actually does on my ATV. My 2004 Honda 400EX started acting up – hard starting, misfiring under load. A buddy said the CDI might be the culprit, but I don't even know what it controls. Is it just a spark module, or does it affect timing and rev limit too? what does a bigger sprocket do

I put a bigger rear sprocket on my ’05 Honda 400EX after a buddy told me it would help with low-end grunt for trail riding. Now I feel like the RPMs are screaming even at moderate speeds, and top speed seems lower. Did I mess up the gearing or is this normal? I mostly ride tight woods and rocky climbs, but still want to cruise fire roads without revving the engine to death. what does a wolverine sound like

I just got my first Wolverine, a 2018 X2, and I'm still learning what's normal. At idle it has a steady ticking sound, almost like a sewing machine, and when I rev it there's a whine that seems to come from the transmission area. My buddy says his Polaris is quieter, but I don't know if this is just how the Yamaha sounds. I've checked oil level and it's fine. Is this ticking and whining typical for the Wolverine, or should I start digging into it before something fails?
